22Fresh Inc. is looking for an experienced and creative Sportswear Designer. The candidate will collaborate with the creative team to design and innovate products that align with our vision on merging Street and Sport. From vision to a tangible product, the designer will own the responsibility of bringing the creative team’s vision to life. The designer will need a passion for an athletic lifestyle, be up to date with emerging trends relating to fit, fabrics, colours, graphics and shapes.
Major responsibilities will entail:
Ability to design, develop and present collections/line sheets:
- Ability to execute tech packs, responsible for proper detailing and overall completion
- Expert knowledge in trend research with the talent to translate research into seasonal themes and mood boards
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of trends and the industry
- Understanding of apparel design, garment construction, applied graphic processes, the fashion life cycle and costing
- Understanding of technical drawings and computer aided design software such as illustrator/photoshop/Indesign
- Follow a structured timeline and adhere to company milestone dates on calendar
- Partner effectively with creative team
- Partner with sourcing team on sample timeline goals and deadlines
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent in Graphic Design) with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
- Graphic Design
- A leader that can take initiative, attend meetings and make decisions
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate
- Work well under pressure and juggle different projects
- Organization
- Knowledge of technical fabrics and costing
- Speed and understanding of execution
- Adobe, Illustrator, Photoshop
